Partners in Mission Food Bank
In April 2015, a member of the Kingston-Frontenac Rotary club, Arja Hamaleinen, took the initiative to start a monthly collection of non-perishable goods and cash in support of our local food bank, Partners in Mission. The club has been collecting monthly for the food bank ever since. 
 
Since inception of this initiative, as June 2019, the club has donated 571 lbs of food and $8,536 in support of the food bank. 
 
Our club has also made a donation of $5,000 to the food bank towards the purchase of a van for its regular food collection. Thanks to Rotarian Bernie Breen who oversaw this donation, there is now a Rotary wheel on display on the Partners in Mission van. 
 
Kingston-Frontenac Rotary is proud to be a regular supporter of our local food bank.
