Peter\, now overseas\, Trevor will speak with curr ent executive and determine positions needing replacing for next year. Tre asurer (John):  Discussion of signing authority identified the need of a “3rd party contract” to validate John Evans having access to banking information to assist John (Mirski).  Randy volunteered to prepare a con tract/agreement. Secretary (Fred):  Reviewed attendance reporting funct ion\; reporting last year average of 64% and YTD of 65%.    Committee participation as well as community service projects are included\; allowin g acknowledgement 2 weeks backward and 2 weeks forward. Community Service (Jennifer):  Poked (seemingly) fun at the Secretary for having a smart phone (no SIM card!).  Has connected with 2 of local clubs to coordinat e consideration of funding requests.  Provided overview of this club’ s first effort to establish “Community Grant” structure noting informa tion is on club website Youth & Vocational:  YEX inbound\, Fernanda (Na nda)\, has arrived and is attending this evening’s meeting.  She is now being hosted by Jennifer’s family.  Tonight’s program focuses on g uests who have recently represented this club in “Adventure” programs of Understanding\, Environment and Technology.  Recruiting for particip ants in next spring’s Citizenship program as well as YEX is underway.  Thanks to Don for convincing Queen’s University Dean of Engineering to appear as guest speaker at the Adventure in High Technology (also\, hav ing that presentation “streamed” into local high schools). Club Servic e (M-C):  An auctionable fundraiser hamper has been contributed to past RI Pres.-Jennifer Jones dinner next week in support of Polio+ efforts.  In light of  that same dinner\, motion to cancel regular meeting next week: Jennifer\, seconded John\; unanimous Membership: (Randy):   ind uctions are planned for Sylvain Bouffard and Elaine Matthew  will speak with members with lower attendance Meeting adjourned… moved by M-C\, se conded by Jennifer\; unanimous.
