Heather McGregor & a Faculty of Education student will offer an overview of the Climate Justice Field Camp which was conducted with support from a 2025 Community Service Grant from the Rotary Club of Kingston-Frontenac.

Sarah Morgan is a recent graduate of Queen’s University’s Bachelor of Education program and is beginning her teaching career in the Kingston area. Originally from the small community of Perth, Ontario, she has always been passionate about connecting with the environment and believes that environmental education enriches the learning experience for students, teacher candidates, and educators alike. Outside of the classroom, Sarah enjoys caring for her many houseplants, getting lost in a good book, and taking walks through local parks.
 
Dr. Heather E. McGregor is an Associate Professor of Curriculum Theory in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University. She has taught Environmental Education and other courses at Queen’s since 2019. Her research is situated in the fields of history and social studies education, decolonizing research and curriculum, and environmental and climate education. Heather recently received a 5-year federal research grant to build and research a professional learning community in climate justice education.
