Andrew Horsman, VP Sustainability, and James Ewles, General Manager, at the kick-off event for the new Used-Battery Outdoor Collection Bin, designed in Kingston by Sam Santucci and developed by Environmental 360 Solutions Ltd.     Rotary has been a community leader in promoting battery recycling in Kingston-area high schools for more than 3 decades.  To further increase recycling and keep end of life single-use (alkaline) and rechargeable batteries up to 5 kg out of the garbage & landfills, these bins will start to appear in Kingston's public spaces.
