Thank you for extending this invitation for MP Gerretsen to speak during your Rotary Club Meeting at Smitty’s Pancake House on an upcoming Wednesday.

Mr. Gerretsen would be pleased to do so, and has indicated that December 18th fits with his schedule.

Could  you please provide further details as to the format of his talk – i.e. length, whether you would like to have it open up for Q&A, etc.?

With thanks and best wishes,

Nicole

Keeping Queens Graduates working in Kingston - Program and $ to match grads to Kingston employers

Nour Mazloum
Communications & Events Assistant
Kingston Economic Development Corporation

I am hoping to promote the Queen’s Career Apprenticeship: Kingston (QCA:K) program to your members. QCA:K is an innovative program, which connects new graduates from the arts, humanities and social science disciplines within the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queens University with a Kingston employer. Employers who find the right fit through the program and commit to a 12-month contract, are reimbursed for 4 months of the gross salary to a maximum of $4,000 per month. In 2020, the program will fund up to 40 new graduates to launch their careers in Kingston

Queens Office of Partnerships and Innovation

Thanks so much for reaching out! We would love to come and chat with you about the Office of Partnerships and Innovation. We recently just moved into a new space downtown and we are revamping some of our programming as well as adding new programs to our roster. I think coming to speak with the Rotary Club in January would be the best timing.
